Festival of Praise on Sunday, January 22nd, from 5:00-6:00 pm in the church

December 5th-16th SMG 6th graders recently took a field trip to Catholic Charities and participated in activities and rotations focusing on families in need. Students were challenged with the project of organizing a donation drive collecting cleaning items.

Junior High will be collecting items to send to our deployed soldiers for the holidays. Any small items would be greatly appreciated.

Student Council will be hosting the annual Toy Drive for the Sisters of Saint Mary of Namur to help support families in need. Students wishing to participate should bring an unwrapped gift. The gifts donated should be specific to each donating child's age.

Congratulations to our 1st Grade classes! They hosted their first School Mass yesterday and did an OUTSTANDING job! As a special treat, Mrs. Benson surprised them with ice cream to celebrate a job well done. Great job, 1st Grade!

Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School will be sponsoring the Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Each student is asked to earn and donate $1.00 and... PK: A box of Mashed Potatoes K: Two cans or packages of gravy mix 1st: Boxed pie crust mix 2nd: Two cans of pie filling 3rd: 16 oz. Pkg. stuffing mix 4th: 2 cans of cranberry sauce 5th: 2 cans of vegetables (corn, green beans, peas, carrots, mixed vegetables) 6th: Small bottle of cooking oil 7th: 2 cans of fruit (pineapples, oranges, peaches) 8th: 2 cans of creamed soup (Chicken, celery, mushroom)
