Mrs. Utendorf was educated in the Diocese of Fort Worth Catholic Schools; specifically, St. Rita Catholic School and Nolan Catholic High School. Mrs. Utendorf began her teaching career at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School in 2000 teaching Social Studies in the Junior High School. During her time as a teacher, she also taught Religion and History. Mrs. Utendorf was named Head Teacher in 2017 and in 2018 she was appointed Assistant Principal. In June 2021, Mrs. Utendorf accepted the position of Principal of Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School.
As an educator, Mrs. Utendorf has served as the Social Studies Chairperson, as a member of the 5 year-plan committee, and mentored new teachers. Additionally, she has served on three accreditation teams in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Mrs. Utendorf has traveled to St. Jerome’s School to observe and learn about the Classical Style of education that is being implemented at SMGCS. She was instrumental in planning and implementing SMG's COVID protocols. Mrs. Untendorf was also integral in planning the transition to online learning using Google Classroom.
Mrs. Utendorf holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies with Secondary Education from St. Edward’s University and a Master of Education degree from Tarleton State University. Additionally, she holds a Texas Teacher and Principal Certifications.
Mrs. Utendorf is a parishioner of Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church. She and her husband Kevin have been married for 18 years. Her two sons, Noah and Jamison, are graduates of Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School and currently attend Nolan Catholic High School.
