Basketball

Saint Maria Goretti Basketball is open to students enrolled in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  All teams are formed by grade level, and players must play on a team made up of players in the same grade. If there are enough players for more than one team per grade, each team must be divided as equally as possible by skill ability.  Games are held at various Diocesan schools.

This is an exciting time to encourage SMG students to become well-rounded disciples of Christ and gain as many experiences as possible so they may be a living testimony to God’s will in truth, goodness, and beauty.  SMG follows the Play Like a Champion Today model and expects all parents, students, and spectators to embody sportsmanship and Christ-like support at all sporting events.
