6th Grade Field Trip to Catholic Charities

Inside and out, field trips to @catholiccharitiesfortworth are a spiritually enlightening and a fantastic educational experience! Our 6th graders had such an amazing time!!

During this recent field trip, 6th Grade worked on an activity that had them planning a budget using beans. Then, the leader took beans from them as people in the family got sick or lost a job. This activity was a great visual way of having students understand and personalize life's many challenges and enables them to prepare better for the future.
