American Way Award Recipients

Congratulations to our 8th Grade students who are this year's SMG recipients of the American Way Award! On March 24th at Nolan Catholic High School, the Knights of Columbus, General Worth Assembly 108 and Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Louise 209 presented twenty-one 8th Grade students from diocesan schools with the American Way Award. This award recognizes students' love of God and Country and encourages them to carry it with into high school and their adult lives. The principal and faculty/staff from each school selected students based on their spirituality and patriotism. This is the 59th year of the event. Colonel Donald Grannan, USAF was the guest speaker, and the Catholic Daughters hosted a reception in the NCHS cafeteria following the program. Congratulations!
