A huge thank you to former SMG student, Sam Hoffer who gave the front of the school building a beautiful, new look! Sam, with the help of other Scouts and SMG alumni David Tompkins, completed the new look as part of his Eagle Scout project. The project included a new sign spelling out
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School, power-washing the front part of the building and cross, new landscaping, lighting, and a dedication stone. As well, a big thank you to SMG alumni, Truong Nguyen for beautifying the beds around the trees in the west lot, pulling the weeds and adding rocks in each bed. Truong's work is also being completed as part of his Eagle Scout project. What an improvement! We are so grateful to Sam, Truong, and their crews for giving our school a needed facelift--beautiful!!
