Welcome to Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School!
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School is a school rich in tradition, and dedicated to faith and family. We are committed to excellence in the faith, academics, and service formation of our students. Each child is a unique and precious creation, and we are your partners in forming students who are able to recognize and understand Truth, Goodness, and Beauty in the world around them while developing their God-given potential. In our classrooms, your student will experience the richness of over 65 years of Catholic education tradition: an active faith life, a fully accredited curriculum, virtue and character formation, and the cultivation and formation of students who become servant leaders.
St. Maria Goretti Catholic School is truly a place to call home, for past generations and for generations to come. We hope you will join us in our mission to be a living testament to our Lord's work in His youngest disciples.
The Sisters of Saint Mary of Namur founded Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School in 1954 and provided all the principals and many of our teachers for SMG's first 36 years. The moral guidance, Catholic atmosphere, and expectation of academic excellence they instilled are very much a part of our educational experience at SMG. We are forever grateful to these special women and owe their religious community a tremendous debt of gratitude.
Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School is a living testament to our Lord's work in His youngest disciples, exemplified by academic excellence, spiritual formation, and compassionate service to others.

Every five years, our school leadership creates a strategic plan to guide us on our mission. Our current strategic plan has four goals:Saint Maria Goretti is the perfect choice for your children if you want them to grow up to be True, Good, and Beautiful Catholic adults.
We expose our students to a sense of the Catholic identity by modeling daily engagement and making the images, icons, symbols, and physical elements of the Catholic faith come to life. Our students understand the purpose and intent of Catholic traditions and learn how they are essential in building a rich, close relationship with God.
Students at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic School participate in formal prayer and are encouraged to pray spontaneously throughout their day. We encourage them to pray actively, but also to reflect and listen for God’s call.
