Tuition & Fees#

At St. Maria Goretti Catholic School, we believe an excellent Catholic education should be affordable to any family. The principal, Pastor, School Business Manager, and the Saint Maria Goretti School Advisory Council review tuition annually.

Over half of our students receive discounted tuition. We offer a generous tuition assistance program, and our dedicated admissions team works with families to make an excellent Catholic education possible for any student, regardless of financial circumstances.

Enrollment Policies#

Age Requirements#

By September 1st, a student must be 3 years old to be in PK 3, 4 years old for PK 4, 5 years old for kindergarten, and 6 years old for First Grade. These age requirements are state-mandated for all accredited schools. All students must be potty-trained.

School Physical#

The school physical form is required for all new students. All 5th - 8th Grade students participating in sports must have this form completed after June 1st for the upcoming school year.

Immunization Policy#

Every student enrolled in a Catholic School in the State of Texas shall be immunized against vaccine preventable diseases caused by infectious agents in accordance with the immunization schedule adopted by the Texas Department of State Health Services. A student who fails to present the required evidence shall not be accepted for enrollment. The only exception to this requirement is a medical exemption signed by a licensed physician (M.D. or D.O.) authorized to practice in the State of Texas, including the physician's license number. Immunizations are not in conflict with the Catholic faith. Conscientious objections or waivers, which may be permissible in public schools, do not qualify as an exemption in Catholic Schools in Texas. (Texas Attorney General Opinion: GA-0420). The Texas Catholic Conference of Bishops Education Department adopted this policy in 2008 and voted in 2017 to keep it unchanged.
